About the field of study:

  • Provides students with both theoretical knowledge about the European cultures and conceptual tools to analyse cultural phenomena in contemporary societies.
  • Offers a flexibly organized set of courses: lectures and seminars of ancient archaeology, cultural studies, history of art, history of Poland and Europe, social psychology, cultural and classical pedagogy and others. All classes are taught in English.
  • Is focused on cultural phenomena manifested in various spheres of life: economy, psychological background of social movements, political and administrative systems but also everyday life, with a clear emphasis on specific elements of European past and present
  • Presents a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Lets students benefit from Erasmus+ exchange in over 50 universities all over Europe.

    The program is addressed to the European citizens and students from other parts of the world. Candidates are not expected to possess detailed knowledge of an academic nature, but to be open-minded and curious enough to work together to understand the cultural and social world around them.

    What does the program provide:

    It prepares graduates to translate different cultural codes of communications, organize cooperation between members of societies of different European cultures and promote understanding of cultural differentiation in social life.

    About the University of Wrocław:

    • The University of Wrocław has a rich history of more than three centuries. Founded by Leopold Habsburg the First, the university evolved from a modest school run by Jesuits into one of the biggest academic institutions in Poland.

    Registration procedure:

    • Chose the program that suits your career goals.
    • Create your student account online (follow the instructions).
    • Within 1-2 weeks from the moment of submitting complete application and registration fee payment (20 Euro) you will be informed about the admission decision.
    • If your application is accepted, you will find the Letter of Offer and an Acceptance of Offer forms in your online account.
    • Accept the offer by updating your account with proof of tuition payment and the signed Acceptance of Offer.
    • Once we receive the required documents, we issue the Final Acceptance Letter and a Visa Support Letter from the Embassy.
    • Apply for your student visa and arrange your trip.
    • Fill in the visa and arrival information in your student account at leat two weeks before your journey in order to arrange a pick-up service
